WELCOME: To our two new Sisters to the Convent; Sister Cecilia who will be our Parish Sister, and to Sister Angelina who will work with the other Sisters at Leeds Cathedral. I am sure that we will give them a very warm Batley welcome!
MAY IS THE MONTH OF MARY: The Rosary will be said before all Sunday Masses, The Rosary will also be said on Saturday morning before the 10.00am Mass. May Procession will be next Sunday 18th May after the 11.00am Mass.

Oh Mary - when creation was begun. Is a booklet of reflections on a number of Hymns in Honour of Our Blessed Lady. The booklet has been written by Sr. Beatrice, a Sister in our Convent. Proceeds from the sales go to her Congregation, the Daughters of Mary Mother of Mercy (DMMM). On sale at. £3.00.
At the end of the May, Fr.Tim with Faith and Light and a group from the Parish is going to Lourdes. If you wish Father to take a Petition there will be a Box by Our Lady's Altar for you to place your petitions.
HUMAN FERTILIZATION AND EMBRYOLOGY BILL: The petition was presented to our M.P. during the week.
TRADITIONAL LATIN MASS: From August we will have a regular monthly Mass on a Saturday afternoon. The next Masses will be on Friday 6th June at 7.30pm and Saturday 7th June at 3.00pm.
MINISTRIES AT MASS: We need more Readers and extra ordinary Ministers of Holy Communion, for all our Sunday Masses. There are sheets at the back of Church if you wish to volunteer! Thank You to those who volunteered so far!
