Our safeguarding strategy is supported by the Diocese of Leeds and focuses on preventative best practice to ensure a safe space for everyone in our parish. Particular work is focused on the safeguarding of young people and vulnerable adults by employing best practice through training, risk assessment and monitoring.

The current Safeguarding Representative is Annette Crowther. Annette’s role is to liaise between the parish and diocese to ensure that safeguarding policies and mandatory requirements such as DBS applications are kept up to date.
